I was very active at punk and hardcore concerts, loving to mosh and stage dive. This concert was no different. The security guards even started recognizing me because I kept falling into the gap between the audience and the stage. Near the end, I fell again and knew something was wrong. I limped to my friends and said, “I think I broke my leg.” The next day, it was hurting a lot, so I had to skip work and go to the hospital. The doctor said, “Your leg is fine, but you broke your hand. It’s a tough bone to heal.” I spent three months in a cast, and my wrist still hurts due to bad calcification.

Eu era muito ativo em shows de punk e hardcore, adorava entrar no mosh e fazer stage dive. Esse show não foi diferente. Os seguranças até começaram a me reconhecer de tanto que eu caía no vão entre o público e o palco.

Perto do fim, caí de novo e senti que tinha algo errado. Mancando, fui até meus amigos e disse: “Acho que quebrei a perna.” No dia seguinte, a dor era tanta que precisei faltar ao trabalho e ir ao hospital. O médico disse: “Sua perna está bem, mas você quebrou a mão. É um osso difícil de cicatrizar.”

Passei três meses de gesso, e até hoje meu punho dói por causa da má calcificação.
