Barcelona, Primavera Sound. The first major post-pandemic festival, and the excitement of returning to live shows was overwhelming. Among the most anticipated acts for me and my friends, The National delivered an unforgettable performance, filled with hits and a visibly emotional Matt Berninger. Tears were shed—many. So many, in fact, that one friend started counting each emotional moment, earning the title of “tear monitor.” In the end, no one came out unscathed, but our souls felt cleansed—even if it was by tears.

Entre os mais aguardados por mim e meus amigos, The National entregou um show inesquecível, repleto de hits e de um Matt Berninger visivelmente emocionado. Lágrimas rolaram – muitas. Tantas, que um amigo passou a contabilizar cada momento de comoção, ganhando o título de “fiscal de choro”. No fim, ninguém saiu ileso, mas de alma lavada, mesmo que fosse de lágrimas.
